On 17th and 18th March, 2016, the fourth Baltic Project Management Days will take place in Riga, Latvia.

The two-day conference will gather more than 300 participants and world-class project management professionals. “PM Days are vital to promotion of project management culture in Latvia and the Baltics. The conference has already gained recognition amongst project managers and project management community,” says the President of Latvian National Project Management Association, Ivars Ruņģis.

The conference attendants will have a chance to hear stories of both local and international experiences from the President of International Project Management Association (IPMA) Reinhard Wagner (Germany), Deputy Managing Director at Länsimetro Oy Tero Palmu, Spatial Planning Expert at Rail Baltica Project Neils Balgalis (Latvia) and many others – accomplished project management professionals in different fields of the business.

“The environment around us has become more dynamic than ever. The ongoing progress fosters the constant need for change. We now live in an era where it is uncertain what challenges will tomorrow bring. Baltic PM Days 2016 will offer a chance to get a sense of project management as a form of art and help participants to prepare for change they may be facing in the future and learn how to smoothly paint their way through challenges,” explains Project Manager Gundars Strazdiņš.

PM Days programme consists of 4 parallel streams each of which will cover a specific topics such as project stakeholder management, management of virtual teams, project crisis communication, change management in organizations and project teams, stress management in unstable environment, EU funding options for project implementation etc.

March 2016 in Latvia will be the Month of Project Management, during which several international project management events, including Baltic PM Days, will be held for project management professionals, students and others interested in project management.

Baltic PM Days are organized by Latvian National Project Management Association (LNPVA), Estonian Project Management Association (EPMA) and Lithuanian Project Management Association (LPVA). The conference in 2016 will be hosted by LNPVA.
